AD/Director - Transaction Management



The Role

Director level (or ambitious Associate Director) Transaction Manager required to work closely with a nationwide banking client, as part of a dedicated team responsible for all retail transactional activity of their nationwide branch portfolio. The role forms part of the Account Leadership Team including representatives from Estates Management, Non Retail Transaction Management and also Strategic Consultancy. You’ll also take responsibility for management of a dedicated team, including succession/development planning for key individuals. 

They are keen to meet with people currently working for Nationwide or International Retailers in Transactional roles as the role is akin to operating at Portfolio Director/Manager level. It's a great opportunity for someone in house worried about uncertainty in the retail market, looking to move to a more diverse and secure role.


  • Property background with strong market knowledge and insight of the UK market including all aspects of Lease Consultancy, Agency and Asset Management
  • Highly self-motivated individual who can drive performance and lead by example
  • Effective collaborator with an ability to motivate, develop and challenge internal stakeholders working as part of a larger (and often remote) team
  • Ability to make sound and confident decisions, providing senior oversight and support to activity being undertaken by the TM team, whilst supporting and developing the team in their decision making and client recommendations
  • Track record of managing large volumes of activity and supporting a team in workload management and prioritisation
  • Track record of effective senior client engagement and relationship management
  • Experience of effective senior stakeholder reporting on a programme rather than project level
  • Ability to solution and lead on challenging projects within restricted timescales
  • Ability to balance client requirements with commercial pressures of financial targets and results
  • Management and Leadership experience
  • Track record of working in fast moving retail environment
  • Strong time management and process skills
  • Solid IT skills
