Clientside Commercial Property Manager - Landed Estate



The Role

Unique opportunity to join this prestigious and historic property company who manage and develop a constantly evolving £.5 BN property portfolio in London. Their portfolio includes Retail, F&B, Galleries, Offices and also Residential and it’s a very vibrant part of London. They have an exciting and diverse tenant mix including boutiques and independents, and they are often very loyal to the area. Due to growth they seek an experienced Commercial Property Manager who is looking for a client side Property Management role, where they can deliver operational excellence throughout a high profile estate. Key to success in the role is taking a real pride in delivering this excellence across the board, and really engaging with the portfolio and the tenant base to ensure a smooth and very professional Management service throughout. The team have restructured in a positive way this year, and it’s an exciting chance to join and work closely with some very respected Real Estate Professionals.




  • MRICS is highly desirable, with at least three years and above post qualified Commercial Property Management experience
  • Have in depth experience and knowledge in leading property management in complex, multi-faceted properties.
  • Have a hands-on approach to property management.
  • Experience and knowledge of law relating to property management, in order to make the correct recommendations.
  • Strong landlord and tenant understanding.
  • The ability to work autonomously, with a proven track record within property management.
  • Passionate about sustainability, environmental best practices and health & safety.

  • The main focus is on quality of service across the portfolio, without having to win new business or hit fee targets. This is a rare chance for someone looking to leave a fee generation consultancy environment and move into a unique client side opportunity.
  • Setting up best practices for Property Management, creating new ideas and improving overall efficiency across the Estate. The successful candidate will be able to take full ownership of Property Management and make it their own.
  • Leading and overseeing all the Property Management to deliver excellent customer service across the estate.
  • Review service charge cash flow, making sure strict budgets are kept to.
  • Review and approve service charge budgets and reconciliations, including PPM works and licenses to alteration.
  • Working with the Facilities Management team and building managers to make sure all sites are compliant with legislative and procedural requirements.
  • Undertake regular property inspections and oversee compliance across the estate.
  • Oversee repair projects and building surveyors.
  • Managing risk and health & safety across the Estate.
  • Oversee financial management of rents, service charges and insurance premiums.
  • Building productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external customers and key stakeholders including asset managers, facilities managers, architects, contractors, specialist consultants, heritage professionals and local authorities.
