The Role

 

A market leading property consultancy are seeking an Associate to join their vibrant development consulting and strategic advisory team. The team are exposed to a mix of complex public and private sector projects across a range of uses and across a range of sectors. Due to the complex nature of their work, they manage a variety of services in-house. From masterplan vision to delivery of mixed use places; maintaining long-standing strong relationships led by senior partners who prioritise understanding the issues their clients face and consulting on the best solution; resulting in long term problem solving. Their asset managers are responsible for delivering maximum returns for long term owners, whilst their development managers assess design, viability and negotiate terms with key occupiers. Their collaboration across the business gives them insight into public sector stakeholder, landlord, developer, land owner and occupier intelligence for holistic advice on complex multi-sector projects. They are looking for candidates who believe in the place they create, consider the wider community impact and be able to take a long term view on value appreciation; whether working for or alongside developers, funders, local authorities or one of their other public sector enablers.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Trusted advisor and contributor to long term strategy in an account management capacity

• Coordination and accountability of deliverables

• Proactive trouble shooting

• Information management and reporting

• Regular, consistent and targeted communication

• Risk management and mitigation

• Governance and contract management

• Any additional duties as reasonably requested

 

Requirements

 

• Strategic thinker who actively listens and asks lots of questions

• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal

• Team Player

• High service delivery skills which are clear and bespoke for each client

• Has lead and implemented complex business change solutions

• Is comfortable at developing relationships at executive level and able to influence

• Previous experience of high risk, high value executive client situations

• Surveying background, with good understanding across all specialisms

 

This is a collaborative role, identifying and solving problems for their clients
