The Role

Great new quasi-clientside position for a Commercial Property / Asset Manager. It’s to work for a boutique firm, with their own portfolio of London based assets, as well as a wealth of experience providing Property & Asset Management, Investment and Professional advice to Family Offices; HNW’s and also Fund Management clients. The role involves working on a mixed sector commercial portfolio with an AUM of circa £550M. Properties are mainly in London but there are also some nationwide assets. Candidates will ideally be MRICS, although they would also look at anyone with commensurate experience, or someone who is close to being qualified. 

Responsibilities include:

• Sourcing rent review comparables and undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals under supervision
• Provide support during refurbishment and redevelopment projects
• Instructing solicitors to issue legal notices
• Manage process of documenting applications for Landlords consent
• Vacant rates relief management
• Attend client meetings
• Periodic client reporting
• Service charge budgeting and reconciliations
• Supervise FM team to implement service charge budget plan
• Oversee repair projects
• Summarise leases and advise accounts team of lease changes
• Undertake inspections to monitor building repair issues
• Instruct building surveyors to progress dilaps
