VP / Senior VP - Leading PE House - Residential Asset Management



The Role

Top Tier Private Equity Investment Manager with an unparalleled track record in growth, are looking for a VP level or Senior VP focused Asset Manager to work across a Residential European Real Estate platforms. The role involves joining a dynamic, entrepreneurial and very focused team, and they have a mixed commercial and residential assets, including Student, PRS and Hotels, etc. They focus on Value Add and Core Plus and are extremely good at what they do, and have a very good reputation in this area. The Asset Management team are a key part of the Investment Acquisitions decision making process, and take full responsibility for divestment so it’s a very transactional role.


Key Responsibilities:

Oversight of the financial models across different investor platforms to monitor asset and deal level returns

Prepare and co-ordinate financial reporting, bank covenant analysis and Investor information requirements

Determine the financial viability of refurbishment projects

Onboarding of new acquisitions into the existing investment portfolios

Actual v Budget analysis and detailed analysis on performance v market indicators and macro environment

Drafting presentations and strategic analysis for Investor meetings

Deliver creative financing solutions on each platform, negotiating and executing new debt packages where required

Monitor project and fund compliance with regulatory requirements

Prepare and review timely asset management reports

Prepare regular investment reports, risk assessments of investments

Execute corrective measures when early warning signs exist on performance issues

Skilled in effectively negotiating multi-million-pound, complex agreements



The ideal candidate will come from a Real Estate fund or Real Estate Private Equity company, ideally with a previous Residential background, and must be used to working in a fast–paced and high–pressured environment.

In addition, the candidate will possess the following:

10+ years’ experience of transaction experience in a commercial or real estate sector, the candidate must demonstrate a strong track record of underwriting and asset managing complex real estate transactions across Europe

Outstanding academic degree from a top-tier university with a track record in managing a Real Estate Fund with direct ownership for business plan execution, Investor Reporting and financial fund management

Strong analytical and quantitative skills and ability to show strong working knowledge of financial models and corporate finance theory.

Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex documents and respond effectively to sensitive inquiries

Able to work under tight deadlines; high level of attention to detail, both in numerical analysis and written reports whilst managing several projects in parallel with minimal supervision.
