The Role

Pan-European Real Estate Manager who undertake development, refurbishment and asset management of Office and Industrial Assets across the UK and Europe are looking for an experienced Asset Manager to focus on their London portfolio. They develop socially and environmentally sound schemes to a high specification.  

 

They are now looking to strengthen their business through the appointment of an Asset Manager, reporting to the Head of UK Asset Management. The role is based in the London Office, assisting on one of their most important portfolios, in the heart of London and to be a key member on the new Central London Office Fund. The role complements an existing team who have overall responsibility for a substantial and high profile growing London Office portfolio and an industrial and logistics portfolio across the UK. The role is predominately Central London Office focused, but the right individual maybe required to assist on other products and markets.

 

Role

  • Responsible for identifying and implementing new approaches of working and driving value
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies maximising total returns.
  • With the Head of Asset Management, setting the customer/consumer mix strategy based on data, insight and research
  • Provide an environment that will attract occupiers, generate competition and create rental growth
  • Assist with generating new development and asset management opportunities through selective site acquisition and assembly
  • Formulate and implement annual business plans for each asset
  • Assuming accountability for asset management, lettings, small capex projects, re-gears, and all lease events, drawing on the support of the wider teams
  • Assist and where required lead on development and refurbishment projects to ensure the execution of the business plan and asset repositioning.

Requirements

  • MRICS Qualification and minimum of 5 years PQE
  • Resourcefulness, a keen analytical mind and proficiency in financial modelling are all considered essential for this position.
  • Understanding and experience of delivering Environmentally sound products and solution and desire to embrace a full ESG agenda
  • Candidates possessing strong financial acumen and experience in the Central London Office sector would be considered to have a distinct advantage.
  • Strong underwriting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Articulate, numerate and analytical, with ability to analyse data, recognise trends and produce action plans
