The Role

Entrepreneurial and forward thinking Investor, Developer and Owner of high quality Industrial and Commercial space across the U.K. are growing their team. They have rapidly developed one of the best brands in this highly competitive space, and that’s due to the individuals leading the business. They are extremely well capitalised and able to acquire opportunistic sites as well as up and built assets. They now need a market facing Investment professional to originate and execute new sites for their mixed sector products. Key to the role is a great network of existing contacts to help secure sites for new developments, as well as ground up redevelopment. They are looking for an experienced Investment professional from a similar organisation, a RE PE House or an Invetsment Management business who wants to work in a fast paced and growing firm in a more autonomous role. They are passionate about sustainability and their product is developed with all of the latest ESG credentials.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Be market facing and the key point of contact for the origination of commercial RE opportunities
  • Build new market contacts and origination channels within the UK Real Estate markets, to identify new opportunities
  • Lead the screening of new investment and development opportunities
  • Work with the acquisition, development, and asset management teams to underwrite and appraise new opportunities, with the help of the Property Analysts, in the excel underwriting model
  • Lead and aid the running of the financial and commercial due diligence process and help co-ordinate advisors involved in transactions
  • Take responsibility in producing and finalising all acquisition deal memorandums (internal and external) through co-ordination with the Asset Management, Finance and Development teams
  • Ad hoc support of the Asset Management and Development teams
  • Establish relationships with industry peer group

 

Requirements

  • Track Record and experience of deal execution, on the client side, in the UK Real Estate Market
  • Organised and diligent to run multiple transactions at one time
  • Personable and team orientated
  • Leadership skills to help manage and support other team members
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Understanding or experience with property cashflows / financial modelling
