The Role

One of the world's largest Investment Managers are looking for a London based RE Investment Analyst to join their Origination team. They are looking to double their already multi-billion AUM, and invest in all sectors of real estate, including Offices, Industrial, Residential and Residential Alternatives including Senior Living, BTR, etc. They offer the chance to work within an extremely well respected team and learn from top tier Investment professionals. 

The origination management team is an integral part of the transaction/investment management process, with this role being broad and varied. Operating across sectors and geographies, the successful candidate will be part of deal teams responsible for the identification, analysis and recommendation of acquisitions to the Investment Committee.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Support of the origination, analysis, structuring, documentation and execution of real estate investment opportunities in the focus sectors (logistics, offices, residential and other alternatives sector) in our core markets (UK, France and Germany) 
  • Contribute to the preliminary assessment of new opportunities alongside a Senior Originator.
  • Contribute actively to the management and reviewing of all due diligence workstreams on live transactions
  • Assist other analytical, research and modelling tasks for the team including competitor analysis and market reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memorandums and participate in the presentation to the investment committees.
  • Support the asset management team in day-to-day management of certain assets including leasing activities, capex initiatives, sales and related analysis and documentation.
Requirements
  • Analytically rigorous and detail orientated, particularly with regards to numerical analysis and written reports
  • Good financial modelling skills, being able to build financial models from scratch is essential
  • Able to synthesize complex matters effectively and concisely
  • Have an enthusiastic and tenacious approach with a strong commitment to learning
  • Able to work on a variety of tasks concurrently
  • Deliver accurate, quality analysis to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong EU background
