Investment Manager / Analyst - London Focused PropCo



The Role

Very well capitalised Private Investor and Developer with a business focus on complex and underrated projects in the residential alternatives and mixed use commercial space have recently launched in London. They have over 30 years’ track record in their home European market, and have over €3BN transactions completed to date, with a team of over 100 employees in Germany. They are very excited about current opportunities within the UK market and have opened their London office in the West End, and have already taken on a new Head of UK Investment. They now need an Investment Manager to work closely with this person, doing all of the financial modelling work and business case analysis on new investments. It's a market facing role and will include execution as well as potentially sourcing too. 


  • Establishing and maintaining a UK network of relevant market participants including institutional investors, funds, family offices, private investors, brokerages and developers
  • Identification and review of real estate acquisition projects across sectors 
  • Conducting comprehensive business case analysis including modelling tasks
  • Preparation of exit scenarios and selling documents
  • Continuous performance of market, location and competition analyses, obtaining and elaborating market information, statistics, trends and potentials, strength/weakness analysis for individual and portfolio transactions
  • Preparation of decision papers for the management regular reporting


  • 3-4 years of experience in the UK real estate industry (investment management, investment agency, or investment analysis - buy- and sell side)
  • Completed real estate or business studies, preferably supplemented by a degree in real estate economics or similar additional qualification.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills such as real estate underwriting and financial modelling (MS Excel)
  • Resilient network and knowledge of the UK property market (especially London)
  • Independent, precise working, committed personality, and problem solving skills
