Investment Analyst - UK Mixed Sector


The Role

Investment Management company with a rapidly growing AUM, are looking for an Investment Analyst to join their London team. They focus on value add and are sector agnostic, although to date have mainly acquired offices. They have a very entrepreneurial approach to property, drive value through intensive asset management and development and are very well capitalised. The role is one that will span the life cycle of

acquisition deals – from analysis of investment opportunities, due diligence, underwriting, active participation in the acquisition process, closing mechanics, incorporating the new assets into the portfolio, and ultimately running the internal reporting on performance. They are looking for a bright, numerate and market facing Real Estate investment analyst, who wants to join a small but active team and with great career potential. They are happy to consider people working in analytical roles within top tier advisory side organisations, as well as candidates who already work in a clientside environment.


The Investment Analyst will work closely with the Investment Manager, CEO and the rest

of the UK team to:


  • Operate and maintain financial models and prepare investment presentations
  • Conduct market research and appraise prospective opportunities
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis, which could involve building models, automating
  • processes and carrying out complex calculations
  • Monitor portfolio performance and prepare monthly investment reports
  • Assist on Asset Management tasks and work alongside asset management function


  • Advanced financial modelling skills in excel and an ability to demonstrate these
  • Powerpoint presentational skills
  • A good understanding of commercial real estate, real estate terms and calculation of metrics
  • Fluent English
  • Clear, concise writing skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK


The successful candidate will ideally possess the following attributes:

  • Well organised and detail oriented. Diligence and ability to step back to understand the
  • task at hand is a must
  • High levels of accuracy and numeracy
