Senior Asset Manager for Iconic Development Scheme


The Role

Madison Berkeley are thrilled to be partnering with one of the UK’s leading development companies, who are responsible for forward thinking and innovative mixed use schemes across the UK. They are now seeking a Retail focused Senior Asset Manager, to work predominantly on one truly unique, and very complex site, with input into other schemes.  As a  business they have a very diverse and exciting tenant mix, and design and place making are at the forefront of all that they do. They are also a market leader in ESG and Sustainable and Community led design are integral parts of their approach.



  • Working closely with the Head of Retail in delivering retail strategy across a very large, London development scheme – leading and implementing the strategy of this project
  • Actively promote the project as a brand Ambassador by leveraged and developing relationships with international retailers, F&B and leisure operators
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business including development, offices, marketing, estates and finance to drive the overall project forward
  • As the project is in the early stages of design, development and build across various different phases the role will focus heavily on working collaboratively with the development team on the detailed design and specifications for the retail portfolio
  • Input into a variety of other projects at various different stages in their life cycles – from completed and operating sites, to new development concepts
  • Significant input into place making initiatives



  • Property asset management experience, ideally within Central London retail market.
  • Development experience of complex multi use projects of scale, including retail brief’s, design development and technical skills associated with the design of retail and place projects.
  • Established retail market profile within Central London.
  • Network of relationships across retail, F & B and leisure sectors.
  • Proven asset management skills – experience in strategy setting, retail development, leasing and long term value initiatives.
  • Experience in managing capital works projects and delivering value accretive asset management opportunities
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Extensive track record of formal reporting, management of cash flows and valuation processes.
  • Numerate, ability to use excel and circle investor as well as date platforms like Horizon and MRI.
  • Competent ability in public speaking including Press interviews, panels, and networking events.
