The Role

Private Equity backed Healthcare / Care Home company are looking to triple the size of their UK wide portfolio, and are now looking for an Acquisitions / Development Manager to identify, analyse  and manage the acquisition and development of real estate properties suitable for care homes. Key responsibilities and duties include;

 

  • Conducting pre-acquisition due diligence to ensure that the property is accurately appraised, including researching comparable properties in the area, healthcare due diligence (fee data and demand)
  • Update the acquisitions tracker and produce pipeline reports
  • Negotiating with sellers and agents on price and contract terms
  • Estimating the value of the property based on a review of comparable properties in the area
  • Conducting inspections of the property to ensure it meets the terms of the purchase contract
  • Negotiating with potential buyers on behalf of the seller to ensure a fair price is reached
  • Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met during the acquisition process
  • Prepare investment and development reports for the Board

Skills and Qualifications;

  • 3-5 years experience
  • Property related degree required
  • MRICS desirable (or working towards)
  • Excellent knowledge of the property and real estate market
  • Great management and organizational skills
  • Good excel and financial skills
  • Excellent communication and business analysis skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
