Senior Asset Manager - Exciting West End Portfolio - 12 month FTC, 3 days a week



The Role

A unique and rare opportunity working for a high-end, historic but forward thinking, sought after private prop co. They are seeking an energetic and proactive Senior Asset Manager to join the close knit property team on a 12 month maternity cover contract, working 3 days a week. The role will be to support the Head of Asset Management in delivering the vision and all aspects of asset management for the high-profile portfolio in Central London.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Working on all aspects of asset management relating to a high-profile mixed-use portfolio in London’s West End
  • Maintain strong occupier relationships, meeting with them regularly to understand their future plans and demand for space. Where possible and desirable keep spaces occupied
  • Deliver long-term sustainable rental growth whilst assisting to deliver the Vision, Objectives and Leasing Strategy
  • Monthly reporting to key stakeholders
  • Assist with the provision of annual valuations for the properties, providing relevant information to valuers
  • Work with finance team to build annual P&L budgets for the portfolio and quarterly re-forecasts. Monitor performance against the agreed strategy for each asset
  • Advise on refurbishment projects from a leasing and asset management perspective
  • Lease vacant property as opportunities arise as well as proactively targeting occupiers that align with the Leasing Strategy
  • Lead rent reviews, lease renewals and lease re-gear negotiations
  • Manage consultant relationships ensuring they prioritise our work and managing performance as needed to meet objectives
  • Work closely with managing agents to ensure they provide an excellent level of service and deliver efficient and sustainable buildings


Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar / relevant role
  • A strong understanding of commercial and residential property in Central London
  • A well-developed market network
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Experience in the retail and residential markets is required
  • An understanding of the development process and some experience in providing leasing advice to development project teams
  • Articulate and numerate with good analytical skills
  • Enthusiasm for and detailed knowledge of retail & F&B brands / market trends
