The Role

Madison Berkeley are thrilled to be partnering with one of the UK’s leading development companies, who are responsible for forward thinking and innovative mixed use schemes across the UK. They are now seeking a Head of Office Asset Management, to run a team of experienced Asset Managers, and drive value from a truly unique, and very complex site.  As a  business they have a very diverse and exciting tenant mix, and design and place making are at the forefront of all that they do. They are also a market leader in ESG and Sustainable and Community led design are integral parts of their approach.

The role is being offered as an initial Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of this extending, but is best suited to someone immediately available.

As acting Head of this team, you will also be responsible for the performance, delivery, output, and performance of your team as well as the external service supply chain which will include our managing agents and consultants. The role also covers key functions around design development, mobilisation, service charge, security, health & safety, customer experience, contract management and governance. You will also be responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience for all our customers and ensuring that all projects are adequately resourced and managed through the required Business Plan.


Requirements:

  • MRICS Qualified or equivalent professional experience ideally gained in a property company.
  • Significant senior level experience of Office Asset Management and Investment, including the management of large multi tenanted portfolio mandates or operating them on behalf of investor clients, working within and managing performance against KPI’s.
  • Significant experience managing Asset Management teams
  • Understanding of the crucial role of technology and data.
  • Numerically astute with an analytical approach.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • An understanding of property development and construction processes.
  • Experience of leading projects and managing teams (including external teams)
