The Role

Entrepreneurial and forward thinking Investor, Developer and Owner of high quality Industrial and Residential Alternatives Assets across the U.K. are growing their team. They have rapidly developed one of the best brands in this highly competitive space, and that’s due to the individuals leading the business. They are extremely well capitalised and able to acquire opportunistic sites as well as up and built assets. They now need a junior Asset Manager to assist with Asset Management strategy and oversee their external Property Managers. You’ll take responsibility for driving the management of a rapidly growing portfolio, and as this is a newly created role for the business there’s an exceptional opportunity to build and shape your own position.  The role includes working and collaborating with external and internal teams across Leasing, Development, Finance, Sustainability and Facilities Management.

They are keen to consider recently MRICS Qualified (6 months – 3 years PQE) candidates with a Commercial Property Management background who want to make their first move into a more strategic Asset Management position.

Role:
Look for and exploit opportunities to add value to the portfolio through asset management performance
Driving the introduction of new technologies and processes to deliver better connected and future proofed buildings
Supporting the acquisitions team in on boarding new assets
Managing Property Managers and all other external suppliers related to the assets
Reviewing, optimising and monitoring asset budgets across service charges, revenues and capex with the third party Property Managers to ensure maximisation of NOI
Negotiate rent reviews and lease renewals / regears where applicable
Setting up and implementing ESG action plans

Requirements
MRICS with 6 months – 3 years PQE
Strong Commercial Property Management experience is essential
Ability to demonstrate ownership and accountability
A strong team player who works well in a forward thinking and collaborative environment
