It’s a new team, so candidates can dictate how much they want to grow within the company as well as having an impact on how the asset management team operates. They are now seeking a Senior Asset Manager to join the close-knit team to asset manage a UK wide, retail focussed portfolio. We are looking for candidates who are keen to get involved and carve out a career at a growing company, with a strong entrepreneurial approach.  Candidates should be MRICS with 5 plus years’ experience with proven experience asset management.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Asset Manage a portfolio of complex and high value properties.
• Undertaking Landlord & Tenant work including lease re-gearing, renewals & rent reviews.
• Management of void properties including marketing & negotiating new lease terms.
• Managing capital works projects, refurbishments & dilapidations.
• Make strategic recommendations to develop and grow the value of the estate.
• Implement asset management initiatives.
• Reposition assets through tenant mix, refurbishment and redevelopment.
• Support wider team with detailed due diligence to assist with acquisition and disposal opportunities.
• Take a lead / active role with new investments to ensure smooth transition.
• Identify opportunities to acquire and dispose of investments.
• Promote and implement cross departmental working when managing the portfolio of properties.
• Support the delivery of the board property strategy.
• Liaising with the Property Management team to sign off annual service charge budgets and implement reconciliations.
• Carry out reviews of all budget expenditure, monitor and address issues.
