Asset Manager - Central London Investment & Developer - Core Plus & Value Add


The Role

Madison Berkeley is delighted to be exclusively working with a sought-after Central London Investment & Developer who focus on redevelopment and the repositioning of core plus and value add assets. The current portfolio is considerable, and they have appetite to continue to grow the portfolio.

This is a brand-new role to support the Head of Commercial in all the strategic asset management across the commercial portfolio (offices, retail and life science) overseeing external advisors and liaising with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation of asset level business plans and asset repositioning.
  • Property marketing and letting strategies.
  • Reviewing lease negotiations, tenant re gears, surrenders etc.
  • Supervising property managers and other external advisors related to the assets.
  • Reviewing and monitoring asset budgets (revenues, service charge and capex).
  • Collecting and analysing all relevant and updated data/ documentation at asset level.
  • Monitoring and contributing to Investor reporting.
  • Overseeing minor refurbishment projects coordinating with internal and/ or external project managers.
  • Implementing ESG action plans.
  • Monitoring and providing input for external valuations.
  • Preparing and managing information for disposals.
  • Supporting on-boarding new assets.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compilation of all data.

Experience and Qualities
  • Real estate background (2-5 years PQE)
  • Leasing and Management experience of large prime office assets
  • Good numerical reasoning
  • Competent at excel, be able to manipulate cashflows
  • Detailed and technically competent

This is such an amazing opportunity for someone to move clientside in an all-encompassing asset management role or for someone who is already clientside in an asset management role to get more hands on exposure on a high profile portfolio.
